Eco Scarf or Square Cloth Gift Wrap

  • A Love Letter - Paper Boutique 137 Beechwood Avenue Ottawa, ON, K1M 1L4 Canada (map)

Join this fun and creative eco-printing workshop, where you’ll use the bundle dye method on prepared organic cotton squares. Rosalind will guide you through the process, and we’ll also explore some of the plant materials used to create the designs.

You will create your own watercolour-style print using dried plants and flowers on a 100% cotton square approx 23” x 23”. It is wearable art that captures the beauty of summer using all natural methods with no chemicals. It will also make a beautiful Furoshiki gift wrap, which will also be demonstrated.

Together we will explore the creative possibilities and surprise colours and patterns from our designs with flowers and petals, all picked from the garden last summer or other kitchen waste.

So get ready to be inspired by the garden and create something beautiful and unique. This workshop is perfect for flower lovers, creatives, artists, or any inquisitive person who wants to get together in person for creative play and experimentation. If you LOVE flowers, colour, pattern and spontaneity this will be just right for you!. No experience needed and no chemicals involved!
